THE COURSE COVERS ALL THE SWIM CENTRE ESSENTIALS.

The aquatics training program is holistic. All areas of aquatics operations are thoroughly covered during the busy training days. On-site swim centre training enables participants to completely understand the workings of their swim centre. This clear understanding makes for a safer workplace. In three days, participants will be trained in:

• swim centre safety (an on-site assessment - all OH & S issues are covered);
• presentation, promotion, customer service, record keeping, accident prevention;
• active supervision and dealing with your customers;

• water chemistry (the key area often confusing swim centre staff, but explained clearly and simply to ensure a complete understanding);
• water testing (the how, when, where and why of pool-side sampling and testing - always an interesting practical session);
• evaluation of results;
• chemical adjustments to the water - what, how much, how, why and when;
• identifying and solving water quality problems; and
• discussion of work-related problems relevant to the swim centre.
